The Harrison Machine Company
was formed.
Berzack Brothers Limited was formed and acquired the Harrison Machine Company.
The company was known as Berzacks.
Berzacks was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange ("JSE")
Berzacks acquired Bloch & Levitan which complimented Berzacks area of interest. Bloch & Levitan are distributors of fitting, and nylon products to the luggage, clothing and allied industries.
Bidvest acquired a controlling interest in the company and Berzacks was delisted from the JSE.
Berzacks, a proud member of the Bidvest group is still known as the "Sewing Machine People". We are the leading suppliers of industrial sewing machinery, parts and consumables.
